InfraGard Arkansas Members Alliance Acceptable Use Policy

InfraGard Arkansas Members Alliance (INMA) offers you an opportunity to network with and learn from other cyber and physical security professionals. You are also offered communication tools by using the InfraGard listserv and other forms of social media provided by the state InfraGard chapter. If you participate in any way with the chapter, you are agreeing to comply with these terms, which we may update with advance notice (or without notice at our discretion).

The organization exists to share and learn from other members and, as a result, InfraGard is not to be used as an opportunity to market products and services. During the InfraGard meetings, there are opportunities for members to share cyber issues they may be experiencing. Do not use these discussions as the basis for marketing opportunities in order to solve people’s issues.

You are responsible for any content that you post or transmit on or through the InfraGard list-serv or social media. You will not use these communication tools to distribute, link to, or solicit content that:

  • is unlawful, harmful to minors, threatening, harassing, abusive, defamatory, vulgar, gratuitously violent, obscene, pornographic, libelous, invasive of another’s privacy, or racially, ethnically or otherwise offensive
  • includes personally identifiable information about children
  • infringes someone else’s intellectual property or other rights
  • advocates or solicits violence or other criminal conduct
  • violates any law, regulation, or contract
  • promotes participation in multi-level or pyramid marketing initiatives
  • constitutes a raffle, sweepstakes, lottery, or any other form of gambling
  • specifically advertises firearms or ammunition, tobacco, alcohol, pornography, or any other product or service that is illegal in Arkansas, or the domicile of either the distributor or recipient
  • constitutes unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, junk or bulk e-mail, chain letters, or any other unsolicited commercial communication, except as INMA specifically authorizes
  • contains software viruses or any other computer code, files, or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment
  • contains pirated or illegal software or crack serial numbers that are designed to circumvent proper software licensing and registration

You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding online conduct and content. You will not use the service to collect, store, or use information about others for the purpose of sending unsolicited or unauthorized communications.

Any individuals abusing the InfraGard Arkansas Acceptable Use Policy may be taken off the listserv based upon the severity of the infraction by the individual.
